During the holidays it is easy to become caught up in all of the parties, holiday shopping, and Christmas chaos. It is important to take some time to decompress and relax so that we can remember what is truly important during this time of year.
Below are a few key things you can do to remain centered this holiday season.
Schedule time for yourself. This is so important but is often overlooked. When schedules become busier, "me time" is often the first thing to get cut out. Be sure to set aside time to do what you love. Read a book, go for a run, unwind with a hot bath. Even an hour can make a huge difference.
Utilize calming aromas. Don't underestimate the power of aroma. Lavender (found in the Stress Fix line) is particularly effective for easing feelings of stress.
Remember that it IS enough. The holidays are a time of giving and gathering with loved ones. Many people wonder, "is my gift enough?". The answer is YES. Try to remember that it truly is the thought that counts.
Try a mini facial. This doesn't have to be a long drawn out process. In the evening after you cleanse, take the time to apply your favorite masque. While the masque is on your face, choose your favorite Composition and do a scalp and neck massage. After rinsing the masque apply your moisturizer but really take the time to do a proper facial massage.
